1. Who We Are

RateLaunchpad ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates ratelaunchpad.com, a marketing and technology platform that collects consumer request information and may route that information to participating licensed insurance agents, agencies, carriers, and referral partners. RateLaunchpad is not an insurer, insurance agency, or insurance broker and does not quote, bind, underwrite, or recommend insurance coverage.

2.1 Information You Provide

When you submit a quote request, we collect:

  • Contact information: name, email address, phone number, mailing address, zip code
  • Vehicle information: year, make, model
  • Driver information: date of birth, gender, marital status, education, occupation, years licensed, credit score range, driving history (violations, accidents, DUI), SR-22 requirement
  • Insurance information: current provider, homeowner status, coverage level, bundling interest
  • Consent: your express written consent to be contacted, the date and time of consent, and the exact consent language you agreed to

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain technical data when you visit our website, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on site
  • Referring URL and UTM tracking parameters (e.g., how you found our site)

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 Insurance Agent and Carrier Partners

The primary purpose of our service is to connect you with insurance professionals. When you submit a quote request and provide your express written consent, we may share your information with participating licensed insurance agents, agencies, carriers, and referral partners that may match your request and service area, and with service providers that help us operate the platform.

Each partner you are matched with receives your contact and vehicle information and may reach out to you by phone (including automated calls and pre-recorded messages), text message, and email. The partners we share your data with are independent companies subject to their own privacy policies. We do not share your information outside the quote/referral process you agree to.

4.2 Referral and Affiliate Partners

Our thank-you page and other areas of our site may contain links to insurance carrier websites. These links may be affiliate or referral links, meaning we may receive compensation if you click through and purchase a policy. These referral relationships do not affect the information you provide us or our handling of your data.

4.3 Service Providers

We use third-party vendors to operate our business, including web hosting (Netlify), database services (Supabase), analytics, and marketing platforms. These vendors process your data on our behalf under confidentiality agreements and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

4.4 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of RateLaunchpad, our users, or the public.

4.5 Business Transfers

5. TCPA Consent and Communications

By submitting your information and providing consent, you agree to be contacted as described in our TCPA Disclosure. Your express written consent is documented at the time of submission along with IP address, timestamp, and the exact consent language you agreed to.

You may revoke consent at any time by:

  • Replying STOP to any text message
  • Contacting the party that contacted you directly to request removal
  • Contacting RateLaunchpad at privacy@ratelaunchpad.com. RateLaunchpad will maintain suppression records as reasonably necessary to honor revocation requests and prevent future unauthorized routing or communications, as applicable.

Revoking consent does not affect the lawfulness of any communications made prior to revocation.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations (including TCPA consent record-keeping requirements, which we retain for a minimum of 5 years), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Quote data may be retained for up to 7 years for compliance and audit purposes.

To request deletion of your data, contact us at agents@ratelaunchpad.com. Note that deletion requests may not apply to data already transmitted to our insurance partners prior to the request.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

California residents have the right to: (1) know what personal information we collect, use, share, or sell; (2) request deletion of personal information; (3) opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; (4) correct inaccurate personal information; and (5) non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
